Welcome to The Chrysalis Chronicles! I’m exploring my roots, one migration story at a time.
THIS WEEK ON
“WE DON’T SEE THINGS AS THEY ARE. WE SEE THEM AS WE ARE.”
And we are always changing.
Chrysalis documents my ongoing journey to explore my roots in Malaysia and China.

VLOGGING MY ROOTS QUEST
Who I am today is not who I was yesterday. Or two weeks after my 24th birthday, when I moved to China for love.
I know, how sweet! Sadly, the reality was less fairytale, more ending. And yet, in our retreating romance, another seed of love took root – a spark of curiosity to explore my multicultural roots and unearth the ancestral legacies that shape who we are today.
Part vlog, part assurance to my parents that I’m still alive: #TheChrysalisChronicles follow my quest to connect every piece of my mosaic & do life out of that awesome-as-I-am wholeness.
MIGRATION STORIES ALONG THE WAY
One #ChrysalisConvo at a time, I learn from wiser folks over cocktails of real answers and unknowns. BYOQuestions ‘cause we’re all figuring it out!
